My anniversary ring has round stones and my band has princess cut stones. Is it okay if they don’t match?

I would like to wear the two rings together, but wasn't sure of the etiquette regarding different stone shapes on the same finger.

if you like it then it doesnt matter what anyone thinks
There is no right and wrong in jewelry. If you love it, wear it!
I would hope that etiquette doesn’t dictate how to wear your jewellery!

If you like them, just wear them. They’re important to you, so go for it
If you like it, why not?
If you like it then who cares
Of course that’s fine!
Its not a matter of etiquette, its a matter of aesthetics. If you like the balance, I think you should go for it.
My engagement ring has a rectangle-shaped solitaire diamond. My wedding band is a channel-set of diamonds, and they are round. I tried on the channel set ring that matches my engagement ring, but I didnt like it as much as the round diamonds. My rings are beautiful and the balance between them looks good on my finger.
Some people where plaids and stripes together. Some folks wear mix and match patterns in their close. There is no etiquette pattern to wearing different cut stones. It is more of a style preference. I think it might make for an interesting mix where someone would probably notice your rings more since this is an unusual look. If you are concerned you could wear your anniversary ring on your left hand and your band on your right. But I think they would look good stacked.
Good Luck!
