   Depending on the scale of the map, you could use little tick marks near the map borders labelled with the ddmmss. Remember that with this coordinate system, the distance between the N-S coordinates and the E-W coordinates will vary across the map, unless you are on the equator.

   To get really fancy, try MapInfo. Its not cheap but its very powerful mapping software.

   The above answer is not quite correct. S/he suggests using the lat and long points as x, y coordinates. Lats and longs are not a square grid and can not be used in a cartesian coordinate system. Thats why lats and longs are rarely used by surveyors and cartographers . For that you need to use a UTM grid such as WGS84. which makes it easier to measure and mark your points. Just remember to specify the projection.

   I say most importantly that you can afford it digging yourselves a huge debt crater to start your marriage off is only going to create financial and relationship problems later.

   As for getting a big diamond make sure it looks good on your hand. Have you tried a ring that size on? Be practical too will it get in the way? Rings go up exponentially in price when you go up in the four C's (colour cut carat and clarity) maybe you should find the best balance of the 4 that you can get with your money, no point getting a huge diamond with a huge flaw in it.

   If you are dead set on getting 1.5 carats then some ways to keep price down are
   1) compromise in the other C's you can really push the boundaries in colour and clarity jewelers make a big deal about it being "bad" before your average person can even tell.
   2) get an enhanced diamond, they are diamonds that were not so good that have been tampered with in various ways to make them more regular to the naked eye (like taking out flaws, specks of dirt embeded in the stone)
   3) Get a less popular cut round and princess cuts are the most popular at the moment and therefore they cost more. Every raw diamond has a cut that will give the highest carat and quality but supply and demand rules here. Emerald cuts are really nice and a lot of the other cuts are really nice too and you can be different

   i am no expert but ive experienced similar things. The sirloin is definitly a better steak(when I can afford it) but cooks better at a slow pace over an open flame. Round steaks have always been dependable for a cheaper yet delicious alternative for quick meals. Especially when quick cooking in a pan. Stick to the round steak for meals like this, or cook the sirloin on a grill or broiler first, then add to the veggies in your stir fry while it still cooking. hope this helps.
