I Just Bought A 1 Carat Solitaire Diamond Ring As An Anniversary Gift. How Do I Give It?

I have done the "place ring under the wine goblet" thing, any other ideas? This is for our wedding anniversary, so any ideas I can do without having to go to a restaurant would be nice (we have small kid now).

In the course of dating throughout high school, I have received three promise rings.
Ironically, all three of them were some kind of stone (one was ruby, one sapphire, and the other was emerald) that was heart-shaped set in 14 or 18k gold.
My husband gave me two promise rings prior to getting engaged…one was a heart-shaped amethyst with small diamonds surrounding it, and the the other was a "journey" ring from brodkey's that has nine diamonds that gradually get bigger and the biggest is approximately a 1/4k.
So actually….I have had four heart-shaped stones for promise rings. But i have to state that my husband's amethyst means the most. He actually got it because it reminded him of our trip to South Dakota when he got me a tumbled amethyst rock necklace as a souvenir from a cave.
I would talk with your boyfriend about price range first, then select a nice style ring that fits in the price range.

The most likely scenario is that they have discontinued the product. All you need to know should be printed on the label anyways. I doubt that the wine you have purchased is rare, I can guess that it's just not valuable enough to be discussed. People can't post descriptions of every wine available on the planet that would be ridiculous.

i would say that u and ur soon to be hubby get the tats done a few days prior to the wedding. but not together seperately. wear rings over it. but twist things a bit. wear rings at the ceremony and when ur really supposed to put on the rings, in stead take the actual rings off of eachother, revealing the tat. =)

If you are giving THE speech, then make it about your parents. Find out from aunt, uncles, grandparents, or friends how they met, dated, etc., and also what their early years of marriage were like. Like a newscaster, you'll just read the script, even though you weren't actually there.
